Adult memberships

Thank you for supporting your Cub by becoming a registered member! Although optional, we ask that each family have at least 1 registered adult member.

You can register for FREE by becoming a leader (pick a position that works for you). All adult members are required to be fingerprinted, background checked and take annual training for youth protection. This is by Scouting America policy and California State Law AB 506.

1. Fill out the following forms per adult:

   1. Scouting America Adult application

   2. Scouting America Health forms A + B (required; NO Doctor's visit needed.)

2. Pay dues ($109 for the year or FREE if you're choosing to be a leader):

   1. Annual dues may be paid 2 ways:

      • 1) online via Cheddar Up

      • 2) you may bring cash or check payable to "Pack 853" to the next in-person meeting. 

3. Take the training for Scouting America. 

   1. Go to https://my.scouting.org and create an account. Then take the "Youth Protection Training".

4. To comply with the State of California's AB506 requirements all youth-related volunteers must do the following:

   2. • Complete the 2-hour State Mandated Reporter Training for VOLUNTEERS. 

      • Submit a LiveScan Background Check and Fingerprint form
