Pack 8853 Cub Scouts have MANY ways to enjoy camping throughout the year.
If eligible, Scouts are welcome to camp at any BSA campground throughout the United States:
420 Scout camps, 60 council high-adventure programs, and three national high-adventure bases.

Pack 8853's Annual Family Camp (local)
Every September Pack 8853 camps at Lake Solano for the weekend. Includes fishing, kayaking and old fashioned fun.

Chief Solano Day Camp (local)
Every July our local Chief Solano District offers 5 days of drop-off camp in Fairfield where kids have fun through scouting skills.

Golden Gate Area Council's Family Camp (regional)
From Memorial Day to Labor Day families and their friends have the opportunity to camp at ANY BSA-owned campgrounds throughout the United States. Here in the Golden Gate Council region there are 3 terrific campgrounds in the Bay Area to choose from.

Golden Gate Area Council's Cub Camps (regional)
From April to November the Golden Gate Council region offers Cub Scout-only camping opportunities specific to their rank level.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Overnights for Scouts (regional)
A special program just for Scouts offered twice a year (Spring and Fall).

Adjacent to the Golden Gate Council (Bay Area) is the Golden Empire Council (Vacaville north to Nevada).
